Building Improvements

The Town’s Facilities Manager, Loren Baker, has worked to lower energy costs at several buildings: Replaced fluorescent bulbs with more efficient ones in Town Hall, reducing consumption by 9,000 watts. Regional Energy Workshop

In conjunction with CL&P and UI, Westbrook hosted a regional energy workshop for surrounding towns on May 16th. In addition to providing details on the State’s Clean Energy Communities Program, participants heard about creating a Municipal Action Plan and had case studies presented by Westbrook, Essex and Killingworth.

Schools Convert to Natural Gas
